Where Minnesota Talks Back

Minnesota isn’t just where we live — it’s who we are. From frozen eyelashes in February to debating the “correct” way to say hotdish, Minnesota life comes with its quirks, its pride, and its own inside jokes. Minnesota Speaks was born out of a love for those little moments that make our state unique.

Why We Started Minnesota Speaks

I’ve always believed that a good t-shirt can do more than just cover your back — it can start a conversation, spark a laugh, or show off your personality without saying a word. Minnesota has its own rhythm, its own language, and its own sense of humor, and I wanted to capture that in a way that felt authentic and fun.

Minnesota Speaks is my way of celebrating the bold, beautiful, and sometimes baffling place we call home.

Our Mission

To create witty, comfortable, high-quality t-shirts that celebrate Minnesota culture, humor, and pride — while supporting ethical, sustainable production.

Our shirts aren’t just for wearing; they’re for connecting. Whether it’s a nod of recognition at the grocery store, a laugh in line at the State Fair, or explaining “uff da” to your Wisconsin cousin, Minnesota Speaks is about turning everyday moments into conversation starters.

Our Values

    • Celebrate Local Pride → Designs inspired by Minnesota life, language, and weather (yes, we survive it).

    • Keep It Clever → Playful designs that capture our dry, sarcastic sense of humor.

    • Quality Over Quantity → We choose premium Bella+Canvas tees for comfort, durability, and print perfection.

    • Sustainable & Ethical → Every shirt is made responsibly, because we care about our people and our planet.

Our Voice

At Minnesota Speaks, we’re conversational, witty, and proudly Minnesotan — but never take ourselves too seriously. We mix a little sass with a lot of pride, creating designs that make you laugh, nod, and maybe roll your eyes just a little.

Because around here, we know the best way to handle -30° windchill, endless road construction, and mosquito season is simple: wear it, own it, and keep talking about it.
